Isn’t it pretty?  This one was hand-maded by someone a long time ago!  Mom says the circle pattern is called “Double Wedding Ring”.  We love looking at all the kinds of fabric, there are lots and lots of patterns and colors!  And see how the edges are pink?  We love pink!

It has some parts where the stitching is coming apart, but that was okay since Mom could fix that:

Mom stitched up the owie parts and her project is…throw pillow covers!  One is all done!

We really like the new pillow, but Mom keeps putting it up so we won’t sleep on it.  I did manage to snuggle up to it a little bit, though!

We hope Miss Sandra and her family like our square.  It is an honor to give a little bit of one of my favorite things to be part of something that will bless them. 

In my last postie I mentioned that Miss Agnes from Dachsies with Moxie was making the quilt, and I forgot to mention Miss Cindy from Bird Brains and Dog Tails.  Thank you so much to both of them for making this wonderful quilt.

We are looking furward to getting my speshul blankie square ready to send to go in the memory quilt for Miss Sandra, the Pittie Pack’s mom, to bless her heart after a tragedy.  Miss Agnes, the Dachsies With Moxie’s mom, is going to make it. Today, my mom went shopping at the mall.  She had a gifty card from our auntie so she got to get a new handbag (that’s a bag that ladies put all their impawtant stuff in that they need when they go places, so they are prepared for any sichuayshun).  Here is a photo:

Mom’s bag came with its very own matching munkle!  (Oh, Mom says he is a grrrilla, not a munkle.)  Isn’t he funny?

So, I have to tell you about something serious.  I’m ashamed to say that on Tuesday late at night I was very, very naughty and ate quite a bit of my boy’s choclit orangey he got in his Christmas stocking.  It looked like this before I eated it (isn’t it pretty and nomable-looking?):

Everyone knows choclit can be super bad for doggies.  My boy really thought he put the choclit up where I couldn’t get it but I still did (and I won’t tell how, it’s a secret!).  I felt okay but Mom was conserned and stayed up most of the night to make sure I wasn’t hurted.  Then the next day at lunchtime Mom noticed I was shivering all over, so we had to go to the doctor.  We waited a long long time there and I ran around in the doctor room and barked and barked and then the doctor came and he lissened to my middle and said the choclit hadn’t affected me; but he poked my back and said it  seemed to be hurted and that was why I was shivering, and he gave me some meduseens for it.  He said I shouldn’t jump or go for walkies for 3 WHOLE WEEKS.  

AND THEN, we came home and  I BARFED a whole bunch of times on the rug and the couch and 3 blankies and my new steps!  When Mom put me outside I didn’t feel like barfing, but when I came in I did.  I was very thirsty too and kept getting lots of drinks and that made me MORE barfier.  Mom had to clean up all the barfs and at the same time try to make me stay on my pillow without jumping, and she was also trying to help our boy with his new i-thingy that makes moosiks.  He was grumpy with his i-thingy because he didn’t know how to make it go and I was barfy and Mom was very conserned (and, well, she was cleaning up BARFS) and we were all very tired at the end of the day!  Mom thinks the combinashun of choclit and my being upset at the doctor’s was too much for my tummy.

Wednesday evening I did a lot of resting until my tummy felt better and I had a good sleep all night, but I did want some extra snuggles with Mom early Thursday morning.  I had barfed on all my blankies so I could only have towels on my pillow to cover me!  I’ve been trying really hard to remember to use my speshul steps instead of jumping up, so I don’t make my back more hurted, but sometimes I forget.  And I went into my boy’s room looking for more choclit – I feel pretty silly about that, but choclit sure is nomable!  Gosh, I’m 12 whole years old, you’d think that would be old enough to know better! 

Everyone is happy and releeved that I’m okay (me included!)  I’m feeling pretty well and did eat some of my foodables.  We’re hoping everything is fine now. 

The only problem now is that Mom thinks there may still be some barfs under the couch because it smells funny there.  The  cushuns can’t be remooved, so  Dad will have to lift it up for her so she can make sure she cleaned all of it.  Mom says “ewww”.

So Furiends, PLEASE don’t eat any choclit if you happen to find some!   It tastes sooo nomable, but it can be super-duper dangerus for us doggies and kittycats!  And moms and dads, make sure all the choclit is put away carefully so your doggy or kittycat can’t nom it, and ask your doctor about what to do and what products to have on hand to help if your doggy or kittycat eats something they shouldn’t.

It is the ornyment that Mom got on her very first Christmas! Goodness, that was long ago!   And Mom puts it on the tree every year!

Are you having Christmas at your house?  What kind of deccy-rayshuns do you have for Christmas or your speshul holiday?

We have lots of birdies at our house (but of course they are all snuggled up in cozy places right now because of all the wind and rain we’re having!)  This season, we have a bunch of crowses.  Crowses are big black birdies and they aren’t scaredy at all when we see them on our walkies!  Here is a photo of a crow we found on the internets:

Crowses like to eat walnuts and filberts and wormies!  They are very smart birdies and can figure out how to use tools to get their foodables.  Crowses are very shouty, they say “CAW CAW CAW!!!”

My mom likes to deco-rate with pretend birdies in the house.  Here are some in our bathroom…:

He’s a tiny owly!  Look at his tiny hat! And his little feets!  And his great biiig eyes!  Doesn’t he have so many adorables?

MISS LUCY WAS ADOPTED TODAY!  She now has the quiet and luving home she deserves!  Isn’t that the most pawesome news?  Oh, I’m so happy for her I’m just wiggling all over!
