Look What Mom Made!

Hey Everyone!  Last time I told you about the Pittie Pack’s Memory Quilt, and today I’m going to tell you about another kind of quilt and a project Mom has been planning to do for awhile!  A few months ago Mom and Dad went to a giant Anteek Fair and Mom found this super neat anteek quilt for only 10 green papers!  (Mom is parshul to quilts because her very own Grandma used to piece quilts together by hand and made Mom her own big quilt and one for our boy!  We also have some of Mom’s great-grandma’s quilts!)

Isn’t it pretty?  This one was hand-maded by someone a long time ago!  Mom says the circle pattern is called “Double Wedding Ring”.  We love looking at all the kinds of fabric, there are lots and lots of patterns and colors!  And see how the edges are pink?  We love pink!

It has some parts where the stitching is coming apart, but that was okay since Mom could fix that:

 

Mom stitched up the owie parts and her project is…throw pillow covers!  One is all done!

 

We really like the new pillow, but Mom keeps putting it up so we won’t sleep on it.  I did manage to snuggle up to it a little bit, though!

Memory Quilt

Hi Furiends!  Mom finally got our square for the Pittie Pack Memory Quilt ready to mail today.  It is from my favorite blankie that I sleep with every night.  My blankie is very soft and comfy and cozy.  This is me on my blankie, it has a bear on it, and polky-dots around the edges.

 

We thought this square would be nice for the quilt.

 

We hope Miss Sandra and her family like our square.  It is an honor to give a little bit of one of my favorite things to be part of something that will bless them. 

In my last postie I mentioned that Miss Agnes from Dachsies with Moxie was making the quilt, and I forgot to mention Miss Cindy from Bird Brains and Dog Tails.  Thank you so much to both of them for making this wonderful quilt.

I Have a New Theme, and Don’t Forget Your Square!

Hi Furiends! Mom dezined a new theme for me, when she saw that WordPress had some new ones for bloggies.  I picked a Wintery theme for January.  See that photo of me at the top?  That was taken many years ago when I was young!  You can tell because there aren’t any gray hairs, BOL!

We are looking furward to getting my speshul blankie square ready to send to go in the memory quilt for Miss Sandra, the Pittie Pack’s mom, to bless her heart after a tragedy.  Miss Agnes, the Dachsies With Moxie’s mom, is going to make it. Today, my mom went shopping at the mall.  She had a gifty card from our auntie so she got to get a new handbag (that’s a bag that ladies put all their impawtant stuff in that they need when they go places, so they are prepared for any sichuayshun).  Here is a photo:

Mom’s bag came with its very own matching munkle!  (Oh, Mom says he is a grrrilla, not a munkle.)  Isn’t he funny?
