Happy Veteran’s Day to everyone who serves in our military! We sure appawciate all their hard works and dedicashuns!
Well furiends, today is the last day of Miss Mayzie’s Rescue Me Week, and today I would like to introduce you to Miss Lucy! Isn’t she a beootiful cally-co? Clicky on her photo to see her full profile! Her mom is fighting a life-threatening illness and would so love to see Miss Lucy in a wonderful home!
Her profile says:
“Lucy is a very beautiful dilute Calico. She has a very calm and mellow personality. She is shy when meeting new people, however quickly warms up once she knows she won’t be hurt. Lucy mixes well with other cats, however prefers to hang out by herself, or with her person. She loves being petted and sitting by you on the sofa. She has a very gentle spirit.
Lucy would do well in just about any home, however the ideal home would be one where she was the only cat; maybe with a senior citizen. She is a sweetheart who has lost the only home she has known because sadly her owner is battling health problems and could no longer care for her.”
Gosh, wouldn’t it be super if Miss Lucy could find her perfect quiet snuggly home today? I sure think it would!
Remember, all the kittycats at Salem Friends of Felines have been microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and are spayed or neutered prior to placement. They have all tested negative for feline aids and leukemia (except as noted on the profiles of speshul needs kittycats). And, SFOF is having some speshul prices for Fall! We hope you will pop over to visit their site and see which one of their kittycats would fit in purrfectly with your family!

Miss Lucy is beautiful and everything I have is purring for her!
Thanks, Mr. Brian! With all the purrs, woofs, and prayers, I’m sure all the kittycats will be adopted soon!
We LOVE ALL VETERANS on my hill. My dad was in the Navy.
So do we, Mr. Frankie! Our grandpa was in the Army, and our Aunt Cindy was in the Army during Desert Storm, and our boy’s granddad was a medic in the Navy in the Korean War, and many others of our family and friends served in our military too! We are so proud of them!
My paws are crossed for sweet Lucy!
Your pal, Pip
